Concerts The concerts of the Schleswig-Holstein Festival Orchestra take place at different venues of the Schleswig-Holstein Music Festival (for example Lübeck, Kiel, Hamburg). In addition the Orchestra will have performances at Salzburg Festival, young.euro.classic Festival Berlin and Usedom Music Festival. Chamber Music Chamber music will play an important role at the Orchestral Academy alongside the orchestral work: The participants will rehearse chamber music works with the teachers, which they will then perform at the chamber concerts of the Schleswig-Holstein Musik Festival. The pieces will be sort out of the management of the academy but wishes and ideas of the young musicians are very welcome.
Teachers: Principal players from top-rank German orchestras (e.g. Munich Philharmonic, NDR Symphony Orchestra, Bavarian Radio Symphony Orchestra) and professors from European music academies will lead the sectional and chamber music rehearsals.
Therapeutic seminars In addition to the orchestra and chamber music work the academy will offer some therapeutic seminars for the musicians. Each student has the possibility to take part in various lessons. The detailed programme will be announced at short notice.
