 The abbey was constructed by the Augustinian congregation in 1332 in the middle of Bordesholm and has been one of the more beloved venues of the Schleswig-Holstein Musik Festival since the first festival in 1986. It resembles a gothic hall church and is the last preserved architecture of Bordesholm’s cloistral age. Both performer and audience guest will feel at home in its warm atmosphere.
