The »Lokschuppen« in Hamburg, which is officially called railway traction vehicle hall, was the basic requirement for the start-up of the electric streetcar in Hamburg in 1907. In the 1970s the hall included 12 tracks of an approximate length of 135 meters and rolling gates. In 1995 half of the railway traction vehicle hall was torn down and substituted by a more modern architecture. The historical part of the hall was renovated in 2005. For the Schleswig-Holstein Musik Festival the »Lokschuppen« exclusively opened its gates in 2008. S-Bahn Hamburg GmbH Sommerkamp 31 22335 Hamburg
