 The small theater in Bargteheide, a small town north of Hamburg, is known above all for its impressive repertory cinema which has been recognized numerous times by the Federal Ministry of the Interior and Schleswig-Holstein. One special feature of this small theater is its unique film events, such as senior-cinema with coffee, community-cinema, kids- and teen-films. On the large stage, theater performances, concerts and readings also take place. In the 1950s style theater hall, over 300 guests can relax in comfortable, red plush armchairs. Since its renovation in 1991, the small theater has developed into a favorite cultural and culinary meeting point- an ideal performance location for the Schleswig-Holstein Musik Festival.
