Gut Stockseehof in the Holsteinische Schweiz has been a concept of rural culture, hospitality, and atmosphere for decades now. Surrounded by copious orchards and a park complex with a classical estate, ponds, and hundred year old trees, the guests of this setting experience a sort of rural lifestyle that has become rare in this day and age. Since 1926 the manor has belonged to the Hamburg banker and ship-owner family Baur. The concerts of the Schleswig-Holstein Musik Festival will be held in the roomy “Obsthalle”, which offers room for as many as 2000 visitors.
