The Fire Brigade Museum in Norderstedt is one of the largest of its kind. The permanent exhibition spans over 2,200 square meters, showcasing artifacts from the history of firefighting. Notable exhibits include a baroque hand-pump fire engine from 1754, a steam-powered fire engine from 1869, and historical uniforms. With the Fire Brigade Museum, the SHMF once again transforms a unique venue into a concert hall, bringing with it a special charm: the music resounds in the Plambeck Hall, where, for the occasion, fire engines from the 20th century are moved outside.
