The Messe Husum & Congress center was built directly on the North Sea coast in the Theodor-Storm-Stadt Husum in 1998. The suspended glass and steel construction of the 5,000 square meter exhibition hall was designed and constructed according to the most modern standards. In the summer of 2010, the NordseeCongressCentrum was completed directly across from the exhibition hall. The entire complex includes a leading international trade fair and is an ideal venue for events of all kinds. In 2011 the SHMF is hosted by Messe Husum & Congress center hosted the for the first time.
