The Georg Elser Hall is located on top of Flakbunker IV, high above the rooftops of the city and in the centre of Hamburg's Schanze district, right next to the Millerntor stadium. Named after the resistance fighter against National Socialism and Hitler assassin Georg Elser, it serves as a memorial against forgetting and offers a new place for peaceful encounters. The hall offers space for up to 2,200 people and hosts a diverse cultural programme: from indoor flea markets and sporting events to concerts and trade fairs.
