Singstars

How do songs differ from culture to culture, and how can they be used to describe our planet? Under the theme ‘Our blue planet’, pupils from the second and third grades explore these and other questions. Through singing, each child finds their own voice, the sense of community in the classes is strengthened, and at the end, the big performance on stage in the Holstenhallen Neumünster awaits. In cooperation with the festival, experienced music teachers visit three primary schools in Elmshorn, Holm and Scharbeutz for six months to work with the children on a varied programme. The classes will both perform their own individually prepared programme and join all the other classes on stage as »Singstars«.
