Body, Mask, Play
What's behind the mask?
The enthusiasm with which the Flöz family theatre group brings the masks and figures to life is enormous. The theatre group is characterised in particular by the use of masks, pantomime, acrobatic elements and highly choreographed movements. These elements are often used in combination with humorous and profound stories to captivate the audience and make them think. The group is known for overcoming different cultures and language barriers, which is why they are not only very successful in Germany, the programme is also celebrated internationally. The Flöz family itself consists of an international pool of theatre makers from 10 nations.
Now you have the opportunity to take a look behind the scenes with founder Michael Vogel. Over three days, participants will gain an insight into acting technique, an introduction to the mask, the characteristics behind it and what it's like behind the mask.
