Located idyllically by the Great Eutin Lake and within the beautiful grounds of Eutin Castle, the Eutin Lake Stage is a true gem. Built in 1951 in the historic English landscape garden, this special venue has been a favorite among culture lovers ever since. Since 2014, it has been part of the SHMF venues, drawing visitors from all over the region.

In 2024, the venue was enhanced with a stunning new addition: a modern grandstand. This new structure, which can hold nearly 2,000 guests, offers an unforgettable outdoor experience. The large, semicircular concrete staircase extends over the water, creating a beautiful and impressive setting.

One of the highlights is the 135-meter-long wooden walkway that floats beneath the grandstand, providing lovely views of Lake Eutin. The walkway leads to modern restrooms and a small dining area, and also features the "Beltwalk" – a circular path that goes to the highest point of the grandstand, offering panoramic views of the lake and the stage.

The Eutin Lake Stage perfectly combines music, nature, and architecture. With its new grandstand and additional features, it remains a unique venue where culture and nature come together in perfect harmony, now more than ever in 2025.
